Ski School Programs

Ladies’ Day Clinics are tailored for women who want to improve their skills or learn how to ski or snowboard for the first time in a fun and friendly group atmosphere. Groups are organized based on ability levels, beginner to advanced. The ladies’ groups are led and taught by our top ski and snowboard instructors who create a safe and enjoyable learning environment for everyone.

Lift tickets are not included in lesson pricing. Participants without a season pass must purchase a discounted lift ticket at the time of online lesson booking. Discounted lift tickets are for participants only.

• Reservations can be made a minimum of 24 hours in advance.
• Lessons time 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM
• Equipment must be rented prior to class.
• Must check-in at Ski School Yurt 20 min prior to lesson start time for first visit.
• Waiver must be signed day prior to lesson, one waiver per season. Be prepared to identify your current ski level (see skills for guide).
• Price does not include gratuity.

MANDATORY WAIVER: In order to speed up your check out time, please fill out the waiver for all participants prior to the day of your lesson. This waiver only needs to be filled out once per season.

Cancellation Policy

• Please notify us right away if you need to cancel or reschedule your lesson.
• Cancellations made 3 or more days prior to your lesson date can reschedule at no additional cost or will be issued a refund.
• Cancellations made between 24 and 48 hours prior to your lesson date can reschedule at no additional cost or will be issued a credit on a Lessons e-certificate.
• Cancellations made on the day of scheduled lesson may reschedule, no refunds will be given
• No call for cancellation or no show on day of tour will not receive a refund
• All Cancellations are subject to a $10 per person cancellation fee.
• $10 additional fee per person to reschedule on the day of lesson.

Occasionally we may need to cancel lessons for weather related issues or reasons beyond our control.  If you have already started the lesson we will do our best to find alternative dates or times for you and your party to visit us again, and a “Snow Check” will be issued to use prior to the end of the current season.  Snow Checks do not have any cash value and are valid only for ski and snowboard school. If we cancel any lessons prior to departure due to weather, mechanical failure, or unsafe conditions a full refund will be provided.

This 10-week (17 coaching sessions) program, ideal for ages 8-14, is designed to help athletes build meaningful relationships with fellow team members and coaches while learning to ski the whole mountain. Groups are organized based on age and ability levels. The groups are led and taught by our top instructors and each group will have the same coach throughout the program.

• Classes meet at the base of Jakes Lift (in Mountain Camp formerly known as “the upper parking lots”)
• Price does not include gratuity

Is this your year to learn how to ski or snowboard? This multi-lesson program is designed to get you on your way to enjoying skiing or snowboarding for years to come! This program is for 1st-time skiers and snowboarders only. This program includes 4 lessons (2 lessons in January and 2 in February), season rentals, and a Season Pass at the completion of the program.

All lessons will be taught the basics of skiing and snowboarding.
• Reservations MUST be made by December 31, 2023.
• All Participants MUST come to Sundance either January 8th, 10th, or 12th to be fit for season rental equipment.
• Season rental equipment fitting and pickup will be at SMO 2.0 (Rental shop at the base of Jake’s lift in the upper parking lot) between the hours of 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm on the 8th, 10th, or 12th.
• All lessons will be in a group lesson setting (no private lesson options available)
• Participants will be given a day ticket on the day of the lesson
• Participants will not be eligible for the complimentary season pass until the lesson sessions are over.
• Participants must complete all 4 scheduled lessons to be eligible for the season pass at the end of the program.

Learn to Ski/Ride Program 2024/25

Lift tickets for the 4 lesson sessions are included in the lesson pricing.  Participants will not be eligible for the Season Pass until completing the program!  Participants must attend all 4 lessons to be eligible for the Season Pass.  Season Rental cost is also included in this pricing.
