Winter is coming, and it’s time to start planning your adventures to Sundance for fresh powder, clean air, and stunning views. With 60 runs across 540 acres of mountain, there is exciting terrain for every level of experience at Sundance Mountain Resort.
If you plan to ski Sundance even just one time this year, the S-Card is the best (and only!) way to get a discounted lift ticket.
For anyone who plans to ski Sundance between 1-5 times in a season, the S-Card is the way to go! Your first visit is included with the initial purchase of $99, and you can reload your card anytime throughout the season for $69 Monday-Thursday, and $99 on the weekends. Compared to our usual prices of $129 on weekdays and $149 on weekends, that’s a savings of over 30% every time you visit!
Skiing with the whole family? Get an S-Card for the kids for an initial price of $59, and renew for $49 on weekdays and $59 on weekends. Regular prices for children are $89 on weekdays and $99 on weekends. Multiply these discounts for a family of four, and you’re saving around $180 every time you ski!
Are you or the kids learning how to ski this year? Check out the Sundance Ski School options we have for guests of all ages!
Time is everything on the mountain, and the S-Card makes getting to the slopes quick and efficient. You can purchase and reload your card online, giving you the same level of direct-to-lift access as season pass holders.
Even better? Our new gates and RFID (Radio Frequency Identification Device) cards make lift access easier than ever before! Each RFID card contains a unique microchip that holds information pertaining to your S-Card, which can be reloaded online before every visit. To access the lift, you can ski through our gates with your card in-pocket – no need to fiddle with gloves, a phone, or a loose pass.
The S-Card gives guests who know they will ski a handful of times throughout the season an opportunity to do so at a discounted rate, but it doesn’t include many of the same perks that season pass holders receive. Season passes come with access to the Nordic Center’s 5 kilometers of groomed cross-country ski trails, as well as summer scenic lift rides and a complimentary UTA bus pass.
Regarding parking at Sundance, in keeping with our long history of conservation efforts, we recommend considering carpooling or utilizing the UTA bus system via the Orem Palisade park & ride lot. You can learn more about parking at Sundance and using the UTA bus here.
For guests who will ski more than 5 times throughout the winter season, the better value is definitely to purchase a season pass and enjoy all the year-round benefits, including summer lift access. If you won’t make it up that often, however, the S-Card is for you. We can’t wait to see you on the mountain this season!
