If you’re a fan of Utah mountain biking, we’ve got some thrilling news for you. After a hiatus of a couple of years due to the construction of the new lift, the much-awaited new mountain biking trails off the Wildwood Lift area are now open, offering an exciting opportunity for enthusiasts to reconnect with the beauty of the mountains and experience a fresh adrenaline rush. These trails, which have remained untouched and unutilized during the construction phase, are a welcome addition for both intermediate and experienced riders!
What makes these new trails truly special is their openness, providing unobstructed views of the majestic mountain and the breathtaking canyon as you glide down the terrain. Whether you’re an intermediate rider or a seasoned expert, the intermediate-level terrain of the Wildwood Trails offers the perfect starting ground for adventure.
We take a lot of pride in not just reopening the trails, but also enhancing the experience. While the trails were originally in place before the construction of the Wildwood Lift, the addition of new connecting areas injects a breath of fresh air into the riding experience. The trails flow seamlessly, offering riders a sense of freedom and connection with nature that sets Sundance apart from other mountain experiences.
Those who have had the chance to explore the new Wildwood Trails have raved about the exhilarating experiences they offer. From the stunning vistas to the smooth flow of the terrain, these trails truly offer the best of Utah mountain biking – a testament to the return of mountain biking events and races to the resort, beginning with our weekly race series throughout July and August, to the recently hosted Utah Gravity Series Race.
The newly opened Wildwood Trails serve as the perfect venue for these events, promising both thrilling competition and awe-inspiring scenery to both the riders and the spectators. We look forward to having more mountain biking events and races at Sundance in the near future!
As we move into September and October, Tracy Christensen of mountain operations reminds us that the best part of the mountain biking season is yet to come. The changing leaves and dropping temperatures add a touch of magic to the already captivating experience of riding through the wilderness. Whether you’re seeking adventure, stunning vistas, or simply a memorable way to spend your autumn days, the new Wildwood Trails at Sundance Mountain Resort have got you covered.
Whether you’re new to mountain biking or an expert rider, we hope you’ll plan a visit to experience the new trails soon! Our dedication to enhancing the mountain biking experience is evident in every detail, making these trails a must-visit for anyone seeking the best mountain biking trails Utah has to offer.
